Prior to being an independent producer, Jamie worked for Mark Goucher. In 2008 he won the prestigious Stage One New Producers Bursary Award and was mentored by Paul Elliott.

January 2014 sees the World Premiere of Robin Cousins’ spectacular new Ice show Robin Cousins’ Ice which will play an international tour and also a 60 date UK tour of Hot Flush! Starring ITV’s ‘Birds of a Feather’ star Lesley Joseph.
In the summer of 2014 JWP will see an exciting collaboration with the Watermill Theatre on a brand new production of the much loved classic musical Calamity Jane directed by Nikolai Foster and starring Jodie Prenger, this will then tour the country from September 2014. The autumn will bring both a UK tour of Ha Ha Hood! and in conjunction with The Royal Court Liverpool, Sex and the Suburbs starring Claire Sweeney. JWP will also be producing ‘Bruce Forsyth Entertains’ featuring the Dave Arch Orchestra.
2015 will bring further tours of Calamity Jane and Hormonal Housewives and a new production of Willy Russell’s Educating Rita.
Each Christmas JWP produce an interactive children’s show Santa Claus and the Christmas Adventure which continues to delight audiences in various locations across the UK and internationally; the 2013 season included seven separate productions around the world.
Currently in development is a major revival of the award winning play Popcorn written by Ben Elton, directed by Terry Johnson. Also in development is a new musical with book and lyrics by Murray Lachlan Young and Grant Black, directed by Craig Revel Horwood, and a new 70s musical to be directed and choreographed by Arlene Phillips.

For the last two years Jamie has held Producer workshops for The Ambassador Theatre Groups Work In Theatre course held in ATGs West End theatres.
