Prior to being an independent producer, Jamie worked for theatre producer Mark Goucher. In 2008 he won the Stage One New Producers Bursary Award and was mentored by Paul Elliott.

Jamie in collaboration with The Watermill Theatre is currently touring the critically acclaimed production of Calamity Jane, directed by Nicolai Foster and starring Jodie Prenger. Jamie will also be presenting Bruce Forsyth Live at the London Palladium.
Every festive season for the last seven years, Jamie has produced the hit interactive children’s show Santa Claus and the Christmas Adventure. The 2015 season will see seven separate productions presented around the world.
Currently in development is a major revival of the award winning play Popcorn by Ben Elton, directed by Terry Johnson. And with The Watermill Theatre, a major revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s and Don Black’s hit musical Tell Me on a Sunday.
Jamie Wilson Productions management arm provides a wide range of services to the industry including; market research and consultancy, general management, tour and logistics planning and a full accountancy service.
Jamie is a member of the UK Theatre Association and for the past four years held Producer workshops for The Ambassador Theatre Groups Work in Theatre course held in their West End theatres.
