Prior to being an independent producer, Jamie worked for Mark Goucher. In 2008 he won the prestigious Stage One New Producers Bursary Award and was mentored by Paul Elliott.

In 2013 JWP produced an international tour of the play Love Letters directed by Ian Talbot and featuring various star artists including Stefanie Powers, David Soul, Glynis Barber and Michael Brandon. Autumn 2013 will see the return of Ha Ha Holmes! starring Joe Pasquale on a 60 date UK tour and Paul Zerdin's brand new show New Strings at the Southampton Mayflower.
January 2014 will see the World Premiere of Robin Cousins' spectacular new Ice show Robin Cousins' Ice which will play an international theatre and arena tour.
UK tours of both Willy Russell's Educating Rita and Hot Flush will follow in the Spring of 2014. In the summer of 2014 JWP will see an exciting collaboration with the Watermill Theatre on a brand new production of the much loved classic musical Calamity Jane and the autumn will bring Ha Ha Hood! – the next instalment in the Ha Ha! series.
Each Christmas JWP produce an interactive children's show Santa Claus and the Christmas Adventure which continues to delight audiences in various locations across the UK and internationally; this Christmas with seven separate productions around the world.
Currently in development is a major revival of the award winning play Popcorn written by Ben Elton, directed by Terry Johnson. Also in development is a new musical with book and lyrics by Murray Lachlan Young and Grant Black, directed by Craig Revel Horwood, and a new 70s musical to be directed and choreographed by Arlene Phillips.

For the past two years Jamie has held Producer workshops for The Ambassador Theatre Groups' Work In Theatre course held in ATGs West End theatres.
